Most washable pads have an “envelope” design where you put liners inside the main pad, making you have to change the entire pad when it feels uncomfortably wet. With Lunapads, the liners sit on top of the main pad, so all you have to do is swap out the liner, which can be easily be do ne as often as you desire throughout the day. This feature also allows you to purchase fewer pads in the first place, as well as not having to carry as many things around with you.
